Description
Signe, dressed in her Norwegian festbunad from Hallingdal, is busy making krumkake, or crumb cake. Baked on a special iron, this cardamom flavored cookie is rolled on a wooden cone while warm. Krumkake is delicate and breaks easily, thus the name “crumb cake”.
Design by Suzanne Toftey, 6″ square ceramic, matte finish, cork back with plastic hanger.
