Description

Fred Cogelow is a renowned master carver and has received accolades and numerous awards for his carvings. He is best known for his extraordinary intricate portraits of rural people. He calls his work “virtual rurality” typifying his great sense of humor influenced by his Norwegian heritage. Many of his busts are life-size. Most are carved from a single black of wood, butternut, basswood, or black walnut that he has harvested, sawed, and seasoned himself. Design by Suzanne Toftey, 6″ square ceramic, gloss finish, cork back with plastic hanger.

Note: These are muted tones, not bright like the original ones that came out years ago! The tile trivet company ownership has changed, so they do not have the vivid colors. Also, remember each computer screen will not show the same colors.
